Become a Ministry Partner
Grace Home Ministries is a 501c3 nonprofit. All monetary and/or inkind donations are tax deductible. Your financial support helps Grace Home Ministries continue to impact lives in 2014 by providing housing, counseling and programs so that each young woman under our care is equipped with the tools to lead a more abundant life.

Your prayers move in the spiritual realm before they even begin to move in the physical realm. Please pray over us in the following ways:

  • Preparing the home and program for the residents.
  • Wisdom in preparing all the documents needed for state licensing.
  • Doors to open within the community including area schools to increase awareness.
  • Financial provision as we venture in applying for grants.

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Chili Bowl. With your help we were able to raise well over $3000 for two great ministries including ours!

Grace Home Update

A look at what’s been going on

Donations helped pull together a second bedroom
The Grace Home is continously changing in preparation for those that will be residing in the home in 2014 & our volunteers (YOU) have EVERYTHING to do with it! This is what is currently running as part of our program:Tuesdays~ We focus on feeding the physical & spiritual needs. The evening includes a cooking class followed by a bible study that is open to young women in the surrounding communities, & young women in our program.

Thursdays~ Thursday evenings young women explore topics such as parenting, fetal development, & budgeting through our “Excel” program. Classes are taught by passionate volunteers either licensed in that particular area or following a curriculum called “Earn While You Learn (EWYL).” We are currently raising funds to purchase the entire EWYL curriculum. If you are interested in investing in this way, please email us. We would LOVE to share more about this program with you!

Thursday evenings volunteers also help maintain our maternity closet & baby boutique. While some are teaching or organizing, others bring meals so that the young women can focus on their class. It’s not too late to catch the meal train! Sign up to bring a meal on a Thursday night & get involved.

As of now, we are ready & able to house two young women in need of our residential services & program between the ages of 18-23. We are actively working on our state license to broaden that age range.

Young women (ages 12-23) not necessarily in need of residential services but desiring to take part in counseling & our “Excel” program can apply for our Non-Residential Program. If you or someone you know is in need of our services, please contact us!

Meet Jacquie…

Our volunteer highlight

Jacquie Myers (pictured above center) shares her cooking talent
We are blessed to have Jacquie as a faithful volunteer who gives of herself, her time and her talents to bless The Grace Home. Jacquie first heard about us through MOPS when our Co-founder, Julie Carden, was invited to share the story behind The Grace Home at one of the monthly meetings. After hearing about the ministry & feeling like God was directing her to serve, Jacquie couldn’t wait to jump in. Jacquie now serves with the cleaning crew and leads our cooking classes on Tuesday evenings. Whether she is engaging one on one or diligently completing a task, her passion & love for who she serves exudes. We are blessed to have her!

If you would like more information on volunteering as part of the cleaning crew or would like to become involved in Tuesday night bible study, feel free to contact us!
